How to disassemble the pulley of the motor
Oct 09, 2019
Generators often need to disassemble the pulleys, adjust their looseness and position to avoid slipping and vibration. When disassembling the pulleys, pay attention to:
First mark the position between the pulley or the coupling and the shaft, screw the factory fixing screws and pins, and then slowly pull it out with the puller.
If it can't be pulled out, pour kerosene in the inner hole and pull it again. If it still cannot be pulled out, use an emergency fire to quickly heat around the pulley or coupling, and wrap the shaft with a damp cloth and keep pouring cold water to prevent heat from being introduced into the motor.
When assembling, first smooth the shaft hole of the shaft, pulley or coupling with a fine iron abrasive cloth, align the pulley or coupling with the keyway on the shaft, and place the wrought iron or hardwood block on one end of the key. Knock the key into the slot.
Too tight in the groove, too tight or too loose will hurt the key and the injury groove, too loose will make the belt slip or vibrate.
